SFRC Winter Field Day (WFD) operations will take place on S****aturday January 24th at the San Francisco VA Medical Center on the top deck of Bldg. #211 from 10:00 – 16:00 PT .
Stop by the SFRC WFD operation to check out the operation or take a turn at one of the stations to make some WFD contacts. Go to the #2026-winter-field-day channel at our Slack workspace for more details of the SFRC WFD event. The event will also include a “foxhunt” competition using VHF/UHF handheld radios to locate a hidden transmitter. Bring your own HT (with directional antenna) or use one provided by the club. Snacks and beverages will be provided by the VA Med Ctr.
